On June 12, 2018 Long Island’s Brown Tide participated in the 31st annual NYWEA Ops Challenge.
They came out triumphant and brought home the GOLDEN PLUNGER!

In May 2017, the LI Brown Tide traveled to New Jersey to represent the
chapter at the NJWEA annual Operations Challenge Competition. The team,
consisting of Captain Jake Miller, Alec Breen, James Behr, Rob Jentz,
and alternate Nick Barresi put together an impressive showing. They
captured 3rd place in Lab and Process Control, 1st place in Safety and
Pump Maintenance as well as 1st place Overall.

The Long Island Brown Tide competed in Atlantic City this week and brought their A game! Pictured above are the guys with their trophies and 2 alumni members who came down to support their team! The guys took 3rd in Maintenance and Process Control , 2nd in Lab and Safety and First Place overall Division II.
