Continuing Education:
Operators:  Operator recertification credit can be earned through attendance at the Federation, Association and Chapter levels.

Engineers: Professional engineers practicing in New York State are now required to complete 36 hours of continuing education every three years. NYWEA is an Approved Sponsor with the New York State Education Department. In that capacity, NYWEA volunteers assign professional development hours to its technical programs.

Continuing education credit can be obtained through attendance at sessions, making a presentation, or publishing an article in a peer-reviewed journal (through WEF).
