The Scholarship Committee seeks to promote and foster interest in the fields of water and the environment and develop a fair selection process for awarding scholarships to the most qualified candidate(s) planning to enter or already in a study program in these fields. In order to fulfill this mission, the Scholarship Committee seeks to establish clear and proper scholarship application guidelines, develop a fair and un-biased applications review process, provide the final recommendation for awarding of the scholarship(s), formulate scholarship funding programs geared towards increasing the number and/or dollar amounts of scholarships and, develop communication and promotion campaigns to increase the number of applicants.​
