Windward Environmental LLC is seeking an environmental scientist to be based in our Syracuse, New York, office with a group of like-minded experts. The successful candidate will contribute to environmental risk and natural resource damage assessments by analyzing complex ecological, toxicological, and chemical datasets and drawing conclusions about potential risks and injuries. Qualifications sought include:

• A master’s degree in an environmental science or engineering discipline plus at least 3 years of professional experience, or a bachelor’s degree in an environmental science or engineering discipline plus at least 5 years of professional experience. Exceptional candidates with less work experience may be considered.
• Expertise in environmental toxicology, chemistry, and statistical analysis.
• Ecological modeling experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• R programming expertise.
• Strong technical writing skills.
