A standing committee for NYWEA and NYSAWWA collaboration on overlapping topics and initiatives, including: shared services for a Legislative Liaison, periodic specialty conferences on topics that cover both water and wastewater issues, such as Asset Management, Energy, Emerging Contaminants, communication with elected officials on infrastructure funding, as well as Legislative Dialogues/Fly-In’s at the state and national level.
